more cv problems..

well i have been trying to get my cv joint off the axle for the last few
days but havent been able to figure out.  It's the outer joint and it's
one of the PITA one's without the easy snap ring to pop off.  Anybody know
how they got their's to come off.  Ive already tried pounding it off.  I'm
about out of ideas.  I cant see any way to get this off.  help i want to
get the roc back on the road.
