Re: help tranny

I guess I will answer my own question in case anyone else runs into the
same problem.--remember this was late at night when the thougth process
isn't what it should be.

I benchpressed the tranney got it up there lined up the splines etc. 
but it wouldn't go all the way in.  well I swapped the tranney with one
from an 83 gti and the tranney I was throwing up had the little
aligning pin and I also had one in the block.  So It wouldn't go all
the way in.  Like I said it was real late at night.  Just thought I'd
fill in the viewers at home..
