[non-Scirocco]Back from X-country

Hey all,
I'm BACK!! : ) Did you miss me? Did you even notice I was gone?
(laugh)
Anyway, Dan and Em and I had a good time going across the country.
We were in San Diego, Shawn, and I tried to give you a call, but the
only person in the 'phone book was Shawn and Wendy Meze, and I dunno who
that is, but I thought it probably wasn't you. Oh well : )
If anyone feels like reading the rather lame account of my trip, you
can. It's up at http://hamp.hampshire.edu/~wje97/trips/trip3.html.
I'm being frustrated by the lack of webspace on my college server.
I've had to delete lots of pics that I really would like to have up
there, but I guess that's life. If I can't get them to give me more
webspace, I'll move it to Geocities or something like that- whoever will
give me more than 1MB of space.
We took the QSW, if anyone cares. It was good to us, and got 26mpg
average, which I was impressed with. It died once in the ice storm, I
think from an extreme wetness and iciness-induced electrical short,
because we let it drip for awhile, and then someone jumped us and we
were fine. There's enough room in the back of that car to sleep in the
back with all of our stuff and two people up front. Cool. And it's
capable of some pretty serious off-roading, as we found out in Death
Valley. You just have to not mind scraping bottom, as it only has 4.5
inches of ground clearance or something lame like that.
Well I'm pretty damn tired and I'm going to bed... good to be back,
and good night all!

(I finally sold the Scirocco, after my friend CRASHED it)
