RE: oil light

I got the same problem. Rather annoying, eh? I was planning on posting to
the list, but you beat me to it.

Is it possible that it is a voltage regulator/alternator problem? I've
noticed that sometimes it often corresponds to my dash lights/headlights
growing brighter and a sudden ability to use my wipers to lob a small
watermellon on the Honda next to me (man, they fly with some extra
voltage!). It wouldn't surprise me that I have BOTH a faulty sender AND a
bad alternator...seems to be my luck with this car so far.

FWIW, I know it's not the oil pump b/c the prev. owner installed an
old-fashioned oil pressure gague below the stereo, and it's running off a
pressure tube from the engine...no electrics.
