They are held on by nuts on removable studs.  However, if you don't break any,
you'll probably back the whole thing out since the nuts kinda 'lock' on there.
Soak those babies in penetrating oil for days before hand.  And use a propane
torch to help break the rust seal.  You'll break some if you do less than
this.
