have any tips for intake/exhaust Manifold install.

I'm going to install a header and a p&p intake manifold next week.  Any tips
on things i should look out for or do before the install?  Its looks pretty
straight forward.  What size bolts are on the intake manifold?  The exhaust
manifold bolts are 8mm right?
