Adjustment Question

Well, this is probably an overasked question, but I am trying anyway. I
was just wondering if anyone had any magic tricks for adjusting the drilled
out, not supposed to touch, 3mm fuel distributor adjustment.

Before you say don't, let me say I think I have to. I had a somewhat
worthless mechanic touch my car when I first got it. He said all he had to
do was drill this think out, turn it some and bam. Well, that did kind of
fix the problem, but I found out that it was really the fact that the whole
oxy. sensor system wasn't working. After fixing that my car seemed to bog a
little bit coming off idle. I returned to try and undo what he had done.

I adjusted that think yesterday, and it did fix the problem.
Unfortunetly, I have a new one. If I said the idle at one time, it will be
way to low later. When the car is cold, it is ok. As it warms up it starts
idling lower. After some magic point, all is well, and it idles ok again.
I know my idle air compensator is working, because when I pinch it when the
car is cold, the idle drops. So, sorry for the length, but I appreciate any
help.

Thanks,
