snowplowin'

Hey all...

We just got a bunch of snow here in S.W. Ohio - so I thought I'd clear
my driveway with my '86 16v. (pretty long driveway) Well, I *almost*
made it to the end before getting stuck - snow was piled ahead of the
car up to the top of the headlights.

Time to get out the heavy artillery - an old Ferguson tractor with a 6
foot blade on the back.

I went into the house for a minute while dad was plowing with the
tractor. When I got back there he yelled something about screwing up
the front of my car. Sure enough - he slid into the car. The right
fender has a pretty good size dent and the turn lens is shattered.
(light still works though) Luckily the body kit doesn't appear to have
been damaged.

Things continued to get worse however - dad pulled the car backwards but
stopped too quickly - I slammed on the brakes but slid into the tractor
- so I've got some paint chipped off of the rear bumper as well.

I think I'm ready for spring now.

Daun

P.S. - It could have been worse - coulda been my nice "new" '88....
