Re: GTI For Sale



I always advertise a car for at least a couple hundred over what I plan
to get for it.  That way you have room to negotiate and the dude buying
the car feels like he got a better deal making everyone happy.  :-) 
People will usually try to negotiate from your asking price to give them
a little piece of mind.  I actually got lucky one time with a 91 Jetta
that I needed 4700 from it. I put it in the paper for 5600.  The guy was
buying it for his daughter and didn't even try to get me down on the
price at all! 

But anyway, just a little advice that I've learned after selling about
11 of my previous cars.
