i knows i'm gettin' to be a pain but i was there in the showroom when 
they was sellin' them.

I have a friend with a showroom condition Cosmos Silver 1981 Scirocco S. 
(lucky bastard left notes on this ladie's car for two years until she 
finally let him have it for $1100.)

What was the paint code on that blue?

When I get home from my job I'll check the entire paint chart for 1981 
(I gots em all 1978-1982).

I've seen (what I believe) to be every color of Scirocco S:

Mars Red
Alpine White
Cirrus Grey Metallic
Black
Cosmos Silver Metallic

This is consistant with the fact that only two interiors were available:

black with red/black seat fabric
black with black/grey seat fabric

I have NEVER seen anything to contradict this.

So, if anyone can actually prove that any other S color was available, 
please let me know, cuz I don't want my book to be wrong.
