FWIW, the oil passages on the big valve US heads (hydraulic or solid are 
the same.

1.8 VW heads will work fine on the Audi 2.0 short block.

I believe Scott Williams has this setup on his "war pig" Rabbit GTI, and 
I have a friend locally with an A1 Jetta with 2.0 Audi SB and a solid 
lifter VW head (and knock sensor).
