Yep, they can come out, and it works better that way. And by the way, I 
have a brand new rear bumper cover which was earmarked for a black '84 
Wolf. Alas the Wolf fell prey to silly suburban sensibilities, so it 
never got the new bumper. I'm thinking about selling it. I got it from 
the dealer from free, after a young doctor clipped it off one day. She 
was accident prone and didn't want the insurance company to know about 
her inattentivness...so I got the bumper at her expense. Anyone 
interested can drop me a line. That was a $500 piece of plastic by the 
way.
