I just did one on my Xwife's 1990 Jetta. Reman cost me $75.

I'll be doing the same to my 1987 Golf GT shortly.($75).

I have always gotten decent life outta the remans.

For my Sciroccos, if I had DEEP pockets, I'd do the new Lubro axles. But 
I don't have deep pockets so I'll be doing the same reman $75 axles, at 
least for the near future.
