Re: Scirocco, a collectors car?

All Scirocco are a great cars. I love both of mine (MK1 and MK2).
The point of this thread is that others are noticing that the MK1
is a car that deserves a page in the history books. This will make
little difference to all of us, the drivers. We are collecting them now.
Please enjoy driving you Scirocco but it is nice to know that others care
too.

Does it really matter that it is collectible or not?

There may be cars with other qualities, but this is the one I got fresh
from the factory, and looked after for 15 years. I don't care if it is worth
money or not, we belong together.

(Yes, a girl friend owns me too :-)
