Way back in the early 90's, there was a comedian who said that anyone who
was caught doing something stupid should be rushed off to plastic surgery to
have his face redone to look like an ass.  That way, you'd know what kind of
person you were dealing with right from the start.  When you think about it,
this rice thing is kind of the same principal.

The water pump is on, a new set of wires was found at the pick-a-part
(score!), and with the lower temp thermostat, thermo switch, water wetter,
and front Euro bumper, the 'Roc is running and looking cooler than ever.
