RE: Still no start!



<x-charset iso-8859-1>If you have a Haynes manual, it will lead you directly to this, if it's the
problem.  When I got my 'roc, it wouldn't start.  The PO included a Haynes
manual, and I followed the information there step by step.  It told me to
check the voltage at the hall effect sender connection, and when I pulled
the plug, I saw that it was pretty badly corroded.

BTW, does anyone know if it's possible to remove just the connector from the
distributor so I can attach my own wires and get a clean connection?  I'm
having a helluva time trying to get the corrosion out of that connection.  I
don't want to take it out and modify it only to find out that I'm screwing
it up and need a new dizzy.
