front wheel bearing question

<x-charset iso-8859-1>time to replace the fronts...the noise those suckers make is unbearable!

anyway

how much should i expect to pay for a pair (shouldn't i replace both, or
just find the one culprit bearing?)
should i take it to a shop, or remove the carriers and have a shop press 'em
for me...is it worth the trouble?
