Question? Steering column/wheel

Is there a way to extend the stock column so that to stock steering
wheel is further out/closer to the driver as I am very tall and would like
more leg room for my knees?  I would like to do this without having to put
an aftermarket wheel on.  Is there any manufacture out there who makes
such an extension???
