Re: NON rocco

I have a 1100 GSXR and Katana and love them both...if you are looking for a
crotch rocket style bike look for a fresh motor. Believe it or not after 15K
its time to freshen up a motor to keep it at 100% (depending on use of
course). I rebuild my katana faithfully every 20K and the GSXR every 15K now
that is not a full rebuild only parts check and maybe honed. But I would say
unless you are a really small guy a 750CC is alot more fun...Mileage is the
single bigest factor to look at...Also a 750CC hold value alot more than the
popular 650 class. Definatly make sure the bike has NEVER been laid
over...no mater how cheap it may be never buy that bike you see in the local
paper that says light layover cheap fix. Nothing is more important at 100+
MPH than the integrity of the bike :). If you are looking for a street style
bike look for belt drive...alot of comfort and believe it or not they last
most times longer than a chain...When you shift a belt drive you don't have
that chain lash. Can make for a nice ride. Also depends on how far you will
be driving...far distances need watercooled...short distances you can get
away with a aircooled.

Hope this Helps ya out...
