Please understand that this company builds performance VW engines
all_day_long. This isnt a do it yourself engine assembly, they're
professionally built without any shortcuts taken. The engines were all
rehoned. 
If they build 20 engines and 3 come back with ring problems then they're
not going to continue to use the product so they can re-rebuild a motor
for a customer. Its not cost effective. 
Thats not to say total seal rings are ueless. You get a few good set now
and then which work great. Im simply not willing to risk my money or time
on getting a good set or not.
