Re: vw part numbers



Those numbers are also in the VIN. The 10th digit is the year. 87 is H, I
was skipped etc. The 1st digit is the country of origin. Numbers are North &
South America. 1-USA, 2-Canada, 9-Brazil. Letters are J-Japan, W-Germany,
Y-Sweden. Lots more in VIN also.
