Thanks for the info. Sounds OK and probably a good time to get the timing
belt done as well. BTW the belt was done 30K ago has anyone had one go
early or are they safe for 40K+?

Uh-oh, Why? The cable adjuster has got loads of distance left to move and
there's no clutch slippage.
