I'm sorry, but i thought the ABA block was an 8v 2.0. I know we kicked 
this around a while back, but to me it sounded like a 16v head would 
only fit with some modifications to some (coolant?) passages. 

Jonas, are you using an ABA block in your "big daddy" 16v engine? If so 
where did you put the distributor? On the head or on the block? If on 
the head, what's driving the oil pump? 

BTW, I think the 9A block is the 2.0l 16v one. Dunno specs.
