Re: brake pad opinion



I say that it shouldn't matter if you don't race.  I had some "regular"
metallic pads on my 16v rocco, which worked just fine, got them for $25.
They were as good as stock pads, maybe a little better.  Then I got a set of
Mintex C-Tech Racing/street pad ($90, got them for $70 from a friend).  They
worked considerably better, but only during high speeds and autocrossing.
The big difference was that the C-Techs dusted way too much.  I had to clean
my wheels every other day.  Conclusion, stay with the regular pads, IMO.
