Sorry for your misfortune, and you can bet the insurance company will try 
to screw you as much as possible. 

Talk to Rich Deede, he had his 16V stolen and the f**kers blew the engine 
and stole the new wheels. His insurance gave him a low crap ass quote, 
but he *kindly* explained the real value and they upped their quote to a 
whole lot. Now he drives a BadAss 2.0 16V roc that makes me jealous. 

all hope is not lost. 

btw, I live in Milpitas and I have been tinkering with my 8V for nearly a 
year now. I have some tools and would be happy to help you sometime. 
Itching to get into those 16V-ers I've been hearing so much fuss about 
recently.
