Re: Don't buy GAS {slightly rocco related}



Dude - I met the guy who is in charge of the solar
racing team for A&M univ. down here - their solar
powered cars run a race every year from Chicago to
Denver... his car was one of 3 that actually finished
w/out a breakdown...
He gave me a pamphlet - pretty intense stuff... I
almost bought an 84 GTi offa him...

Come to think of it, for his personal cars he had an
88 16v all teed out, a 16v pickup conversion w/recaros
& a coraddo dash, and that GTi... I shoulda bought it
instead of my rocco - If it hadn't looked like crap,
but it was one running m.f...

Of course, that was before I got into these lil pocket
rockets, so I didnt fully appreciate what anything on
them was..

man - actually that is really amazing... how much I
have learned from this list... <<sniff>>  well,
talking to you guys then reading my bentley to figger
out what the f#%#$ you were talking about...
