Sunroof.

Problems. I had the typical crank roof when I got my car. But the liner
was mildewed and stained, so I decided to replace it. I removed the system
and fixed the liner. Looked nice. But when I went to put it back in, it
wouldn't fit. Tried for 2 days in different timings of the cables, but it
wouldn't fit right. Then the spot welds started to come loose and the
cables got screwed. So now the sunroof was shot.

So, I ripped out the cable and reinstalled everything as a manually sliding
roof. But this isn't what I want permanently. So I picked up a clear
sunroof to install. It fits front to back perfectly, but side to side it's
too narrow. The rail gaps are going to need to be filled in to fit it.

So the question is how much would these changes cost and is it worth it or
should I just get the old system repaired?

Thanks,

Mike
