Nearly going again

Hi All.

The rocco started on Saturday! My problems are nearing their end.

The car now idles, and revsto about 7000 or so (well, that's where I stopped).

However, if I stamp on the throttle, it dies - I have to build the revs slowly.

This all sounds like a fuel problem to me, so I replaced the filter first. The
old filter was filthy, but a new one has not cured the proble,.

Anyone have any suggestions on the next tests / replacements to try?
