REQ info: 2 litre 16 valve turbo from 87 VW Jetta GLI

I have someone willing to sell me this motor, 2 litre 16 valve turbo from 87 VW
Jetta GLI, for next to
nothing except for a 1 hour drive.

It is missing an Alternator and doesn't come with a rad.

Is it worth while to pick it up and try to stuff it into my 88 'Rocco?
