New Bugattiwagen racecar?

Something interesting from http://www.vwvortex.com

Bugatti Racing Car Rumors
A month after buying the rights to the legendary
prewar Bugatti marque, Volkswagen reportedly plans
to attach it to a prototype of a new racing car it will
display at the Paris Auto Show.

The daily Braunschweiger Zeitung reported Thursday
that VW would unveil a new Bugatti with a unique
18-cylinder engine in Paris Sept. 29. But it said the
automaker has yet to decide whether to produce the
          car for sale.

The fuel-injected engine, three VR6 motors put
together, will put out 600 horsepower, the newspaper
          said.

Volkswagen spokesman Kurt Rippholz declined to
comment on the report, but sources within the
company said the actual performance is slightly
          lower.

The company had been negotiating for the rights to
the Bugatti name for more than a year before closing
a deal in August with Luxembourg-based Bugatti
International S.A. for an undisclosed sum.

VW's interest in reviving the nameplate, which gained
fame in the early 1900s with spectacular successes on
European racetracks, reportedly has waned, however,
with its acquisitions this year of the luxury Bentley and
          Lamborghini lines.

So Vw can make a w12 out of 2 VR6's, and an 18cyl out of 3 VR6's, I say
we build a 54cyl out of 3 bugattis...That's like 1800hp!
hahahahahahahahahahahaha....
