Re: replacing the top

While shopping the other night at Wegmans, I spotted a white car in the lot
that looked a lot like a really ugly Tempo.  On closer inspection, it was
an A2 Jetta.  It had a ragtop installed (but it was mostly ripped off)  It
appeared to be a clean installation; dealer/factory.  It didn't have the
blacked out trunk lid.  Oh Yeah, it had European bumpers!  The car was
really beat up, so its hard to imagine someone going through the trouble. 
They couldn't have been dealer installe too, could they?
