Re: Rear Hatch Speakers-Need Help

I have a setup that I'm VERY happy with in my Rabbit, I'm sure you could do
something similar in your 'roc.... I have the two stock-sized Boston Acoustics
3.5" speakers in the dash putting out nice treble.... then, in the rear, I have
two 6x9's and two 10" JBL woofers mounted in the rear deck. With a 300W amp
driving the JBL's, it sounded really full and nice. The amp died because it was
a piece of crap (Legacy), and I think I might send it in for warranty, but I'm
not sure I really want another one (laugh). Nah, it worked fine when it worked.
Whatever. I don't know if the JBL's are designed for free-air applications, but
they seem to work fine. Eh, I dunno.
