2.0 conversion



My project for the winter will be a conversion to a 2.0 Turbo.  I already 
have the turbo and some other assorted goodies and I have decided to go 
with the Audi 80 shortblock.  I plan on lowering compression with the 
gasket from ND as Tim swears that they have few if any problems in the A2 
and A3 motors.

In addition to the shortblock, the motor will have a PP head, Neuspeed 268 
or HOR 270 cam, 2.25 exhaust, TT fuel module tuned to work off of boost 
and, of course, an intercooled turbo.

What I need to know is what to do with the block once I get it. I assume 
that I can't use the Audi clutch and flywheel or the oil pan.  Is this 
correct???  I will be putting in new rod bearings and rings but I don't 
know which ones to use???

Any comments are welcome, I would like everyone's input into this 
project!!!!
