Re: Cold start /Air bypass Valve...???



Sounds like you are definitely on the right track. There is a small nut on
the air bypass unit. Loosen it and slide it over a bit, this will close the
hole a bit. Then tighten it back up of course. Apparently, too much air was
getting in. I don't think you should see it idle higher than 1300 when
cold. See if you can get a dwell meter or a CO meter(even better) and
adjust your mixture. Of course, make sure all vacuum leaks are resolved first.
