Chris,

wait a minute, you have this same problem after
you changed from AC to non-AC as well?

It definitely feels like it's missing, but I seem
to think it is ignition related rather than fuel because
it ran perfectly ok before the conversion.

I didn't change my timing belt, so I'm not sure if
our problems are related, but my rocco is missing
throughout the whole rev range and is especially bad
at the low end (2k-3k).

I'll do my best to keep this thread alive until the problem is 
fixed, but it really depends on everybody else on the list.
I really do not want to take the car to a shop,
so howabout it guys?
