A strategically placed troll message will bring out some of the lurkers
from time to time. LOL!
I think that it would be to every car owners (no matter what kind of car)
benefit to know at least the basics of how a car works and how to do some
basic work on a car. I don't know how many people I come across who cant
even change their own tire. There's nothing wrong with not knowing, but
think of how much time they could of saved by simply knowing how instead
of waiting for someone to stop (if ever) or waiting for someone to show
up to change the tire for them.
Because I work up in the mountains of So Cal, (Alpine area FYI) I see
stranded motorist all the time(East 8). I make it a point to stop for
women with flat tires simply because if it were my mother/sister/whoever,
I would want someone who was a good person to stop and help them out. So
for that reason, I stop.
I stop for guys too but honestly, when I ask them if they need help
changing the tire, they're too proud to say "yes, I cant change a tire".
They usually give me an excuse of somebodies comming. Whatever. The human
psyche is quite funny.
Anyways, just so you don't feel slighted by my intentional trolling, I
don't think women working on cars is unheard of. They can be just as
capable with an impact wrench as any guy is. I just cant handle the
foo-foo stuff on the toolbox. : )-

Im glad you love your Roc as much as I do Jennifer, troubled as it may
be, right? :)
