i was using the scirocco.org vin decoder and tranny decoder and have a few questions on ratios and gears

2 tranny's in question here: 
		  2Y,	  9A   all for a 2L 16V
5th Gear:  	 .91	.89
Final Drive Ratio  3.67	3.67
Overall Ratio	 3.34	3.27

Since I'm learning this so I can have conversations with you guys...
What is the performance difference between the 5th gears mentione above?

What would happen if a .805 5th gear kit was put in there?

What is a final drive ratio?

What does overall ratio mean?   especially in the case between the 2 above?
