These types of noises are generally caused by the wiring loom behind the dash.
Fixing it may involve pulling the thing out (ugh). Some folks have gotten
results from retightening the screws that hold the dash and console, if any,
in place. My one addition to the retighten thing is to add a drop of lock-
tight to the threads so as to keep them from backing out.
