Who said they were Satan's spawn, besides you? Obviously they work great
on bikes. Especially since bikes weigh much less than cars and AFIAK,
don't see the high operating temps as cars do since there is much less
weight to stop on a consistent basis.
Every pair of X-drilled rotors ive ever seen has some form of stress
fractures of one kind or another. (Except for ones that were brand new.)
That included rotors on bikes and on jet fighters. 
No, they were not cracked all over the rotor, just light and small cracks
emanating from the drilled holes. The older the rotors got, the worse the
cracks got. Ive never seen a set of slotted rotors do this. Have you, in
all of your majestic mechanical experience seen slotted rotors crack
Kevin?
