Re: armor door plates

I bought some hardened plastic ones for 20-30 bucks from a VW-oriented
auto parts store.  I guess if you go for the metal ones they probably cost
around 50.  Std disclaimer -- armour door plates may just wind up causing
the thief to make an even larger dent under your door handle, or maybe
he'll resort to breaking your window!  FWIW, I rely on the 'cheap looking
stereo' method to keep intruders out of *my* car!
