Re: How low do you go.



Well, how low do you want to go?  My MK1 is about 7" ground clearance 
at the unibody seam that runs the length of the car.  I run 
185/60-14's and can JUST fit my hand (~.5") between the tire and 
wheel well with my hand level.  I'm running Sachs race shocks with 
Susp. Tech. progressive lowering springs.  Good thing the bodies are 
threaded because under HARD cornering, the passenger axle rubs on the 
frame.  Raise it up about 1/8" and it'll all be good.
