Pete:
I discovered that specifically the 89 Olds Cutlas Supreme (Im sure the
older models will have something similar) has a cool little box that is
mounted on the underside of the hood. It has an enclosed bulb thats on a
long wire. You can pull it out, wander all around the car, if you want,
and when your done it rolls up into its own little box. I didnt think
anything about it until I used it one night (while screwing with the
sorry ass tranny.)
Anyways, I filed it in the back of my mind as useful info. Im sure you
could pick up one and mount it under the hood if your car. It should fit
most anywhere under the hood I would think. (Within reason.) Anyways,
HTH!
