The hydro head will bolt up to any 8v rataining the same CR  I 
believe there is a problem becuase the solid lifter cars use a 
different oil pump than the hydrolic cars.   If you swaped oil pumps 
then it would work

Are the hydraulic-lifter 8v heads a simple bolt-on upgrade?  Do they offer the 8.5:1 compression ratio, or is it different?  
Anyone have other thoughts on the pros/cons of such heads?  Experience??
