I had to deal with this once when I had a Quantum for my winter car
and did not have the $$$ to replace the radiator. Basically, I have
been advised to stay away from the 'liquid/goo' stuff. On the other
hand I was advised, and did use the "Aluma-Seal" it is like a tube of
aluminum flakes. A solid as opposed to a liquid. It worked fine on
my Quantum. In fact I think the rad on my Jetta is starting to go
thanks to Ohio crazy temp fluctuations one day it is 65f the next it
is -5f. I may be adding this to my Jetta to get through the winter.
