NO!  I won't go easy on you!!  :)  How much did you pay for that Napa
thermostat?  $6?  I just bought a german one from Mark at Adirondack's
for $8...  the only excuse that I would deem acceptable would be the
last minute, get the car running bit. 

Too bad I don't have an answer to your problem...  just wanted to give
you a hard time  ;)
