My turn to bitch and moan

Hey guys... one more thing.
After my car was broken into, I had the glovebox door replaced by the
so-called best trim guy in Pittsburgh. Ha. What a joke.
He wound up putting an 8v door on the car... which is fine and all... but
(a) I wanted the 16v emblem, and (b) the material doesn't match mine.
So, today I decided to put my old one back on, which got a little warped
when the bastards pried it open. I bent it back glued it, and it looks
beautiful.
And then I come to find out the real reason why the d*ckhead trim guy
replaced it instead of fixing mine. He broke off the little prop arm
thingy. You should have seen the fit I threw when I realized this.

Okay. I don't want to have to kill this guy, so I am wondering if any of
you know how I could remove that thingy from the 8v door and attach it to
mine.

See, when I picked up my car, I was attacked by his 215 pund (I am not
making this up) St. Bernard watch dog. While in the hospital, with a 1"
hole through my right (shift) hand, I told him that if he had the dog put
to sleep, I wouldn't press charges or sue. He was relieved,as his shop has
no insurance because his last ins. co. dropped him 'cause of the dog.
Seems he had a history of biting people.
I'll try it myself first... but I can't do it, I'm going back to the
sumnabitch. If he doesn't put my car back the way he found it, I'll just
have to see to it that his little shop goes under.
Being a nice person, I'd rather not do that. <although it would be fun
and I could use the money> So, therefore, I ask, with a slight grin on my
face, can anyone help me?
		Jason

PS: <No, I'm *NOT* bitter>
