I personally wouldn't go with poly engine mounts on a daily driver. My
friend had a 2.0L 16v rabbit, with poly mounts, and man, it shook like heck.
All the vibrations were transfered to the car. the engine was solid
though.

I guess its hard to upgrade a 16v engine without getting the checkbook out.
What have you done so far? What are you looking to do? (power mods,
handling or exterior mods??) I guess i'd say get a set of cams, 2.0L
block, redline MTL in the gearbox, shift bushings, a short shifter and
weighted rod (adds a great feel to shifting), cut down the shifter (looks
and feels better imo), get some adjustable shocks and nice stiff springs,
poly suspension bushings, bars, nice wheels (cause they look nice), euro
stuff (bumpers lights signals side markers...) a leather handbrake boot
cover. Those are my faves.
