any ideas on a cheap ICE install (sorry thats Sounds over hear)

Hi chaps,
Want to upgrade my standard system ..............
however i do not want to spend a fortune doing so..........
any ideas what speakers to go for and wheither or not i need to add an amp
to the system to get a descent sound...........
bare in mind that i am not Music daft i just like a good sound when i am
driving...............Please mail me direct if you have any ideas!!!
