Nope... it's nothing more than a highly refined oil.  In fact, it can be
burned as fuel in a diesel engine (Don't ask how I know this, long story
involving not being able to find a gas station that sold diesel fuel). 
It works great for lubricating hood latches, door hinges, throttle
plates, etc.
