FN tranny woes...

manoh man,almost thought i had my tranny sold, but seems that the 
yahoo owner before musta REALLY wanted 100mm inner cvs bcause they 
grounded down the driver side of the tranny housing to allow for the 
extra clearence, however grinded down a bit too zealously and put a 
hole in the casing. so...

do I..

1>tear it all down and sell off the 5th gear (.71)
2> tear it all apart and have someone weld a small plate
of aluminum and sand it down smooth
3>weld on a big piece of aluminum and remove the 100mm cv flanges
and sell it off as a 90mm usage only trany?
4>donate it to a junkyard
